Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 25 years (as of January 1, 2024)
- No relaxation in upper or lower age limit is permissible in this recruitment.
- Proof of age: Matriculation certificate issued by a recognized board or equivalent must be produced/attached.
Educational Qualification:
(i) Level-2 Or Level-3 of Pay Matrix (7th Pay Commission):
- Passed 12th (+2 stage) or equivalent examination from a Govt. Recognized Board/Council/Institution.
(ii) Level-1 of Pay Matrix (7th Pay Commission):
- 10th Pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
Application Fee
Category-wise application fees are as follows:
(i) For all candidates except those mentioned below: Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) only with a provision for refunding Rs. 400/- to candidates actually appearing in the trial. The IPO should be drawn in favor of PFA/NF Railway, and payable at Maligaon Post Office, Guwahati – 781011 only. Candidates must write their names & full address in the IPO.
(ii) For candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex. Servicemen, Women, Minorities, and Economically Backward Classes: Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty) only with a provision for refunding the same to those who actually appear in the trial.
How to Apply
Interested candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria should apply using the application format provided in Annexure-A. The application should be handwritten on a good quality A-4 size plain paper and include two recent passport-size photographs, duly self-attested without any wig, cap, or colored glasses.
Applications must be sent through ordinary post to the following address on or before October 23, 2023, or physically dropped in the APPLICATION DROP BOX in the Recruitment Section at the Office of Pr. Chief Personnel Officer, NF Railway HQ, Maligaon, Guwahati (Assam)-781011.
